About:

In 2001, after having resolved many of his clients’ cases through mediation, Perry began his practice as a professional mediator. Perry has mediated and settled thousands of cases. His mediation philosophy is to remain neutral, work hard, understand and appreciate but distinguish the issues that cannot be resolved and concentrate on the issues that are important in resolving the dispute. His goal is to settle the dispute but also to use the mediation process to educate the litigants and so they can make an informed decision to settle or try the case.

In 2006 he formed Perry W. Neichoy P.C. and has been sole practitioner since that year. Through the years he has partnered with other firms in representing clients in litigation on both sides of the docket.

Perry practiced maritime defense, representing ships, tugs, offshore oil drilling and production owners and companies operating primarily on the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast, for approximately five years after graduating from law school in 1989. Subsequently, he became a partner in a general business and personal injury firm representing both plaintiffs and defendants until 2006.

He has extensive first-hand litigation, mediation, arbitration and, special court master experience in many areas of maritime law, vehicle and industrial accidents resulting in personal injury and property damage, first party insurance and bad faith claims, toxic tort, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, contracts and employment matters and, multi-party litigation including class actions.

Perry grew up on a rice farm in Southeast Texas. He graduated from Lamar University in 1984 and Texas Tech Law School in 1989.
